To the Installer:
This manual covers installation of the CFC-E Boiler. Items covered include lifting and moving the boiler, placement of the boiler,
boiler room requirements, connections, electrical requirements, and water treatment requirements. The information is presented
to enable the installer to quickly install the unit with the least risk of damage to the equipment.
Recommendations given in this manual are the minimum requirements. Insurance and local or state regulatory codes may con-
tain additional or more stringent requirements than those stated in this manual. Installation must conform to the requirements of
the owner's insurance carrier, state/provincial and local codes governing such equipment, and/or any other authority having
jurisdiction. Prior to installation, the proper authorities having jurisdiction are to be consulted, permits obtained by the installing
contractor, etc.
Refer to the boiler operation and maintenance manual for start-up procedures after the boiler has been properly installed. Addi-
tional information about the Model CFC-E may be obtained from your local Cleaver Brooks factory authorized representative.
Refer to the specific Dimension Diagram included with the boiler for project specifics, tappings, and connection locations.
NOTE: A completed startup form must be returned to Cleaver-Brooks within twelve (12) weeks of startup for warranty registration.
The thermal shock warranty does not cover damage due to cyclic fatigue.
Bypassing or tampering with the boiler control system or safety devices will void the pressure vessel warranty.
A boiler room log including combustion records and maintenance history must accompany any request for warranty
consideration. Recommended maintenance procedures must be followed for warranties to apply.
See job-specific documentation for full warranty information.
