1.10 - Seismic Mounting
Kits are available for seismic mounting. Seismic base dimensions shown below.
Attach the 4 seismic brackets to the boiler as shown using the screws provided. Anchor the brackets
using the pre-drilled holes.
1.11 - Outdoor Installations
The CFC-E boiler is UL certified for outdoor use under the following conditions:
For outdoor installations, an outdoor installation kit must be installed on the boiler prior to operation.
The boiler must remain indoors or properly protected from rain until the outdoor kit is properly installed.
Installation instructions are included with CB supplied outdoor kits.
The outdoor boiler is designed for moderate climates; not intended for use in conditions of freezing or
extreme heat, or where regular exposure to extreme wind conditions may impact operation of the
controls or normal boiler operation.
