Section 1 - GENERAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
Note: For CFC-E 3000-6000 — a ship-loose transformer
is required for non-460V operation. The
transformer can be supplied with the boiler or by
others. Transformer installation and wiring should
be performed by a licensed electrician and must
comply with local codes.
The installation must conform to the requirements of
the authority having jurisdiction, or in the absence of
such requirements, to the National Fuel Gas Code,
ANSI Z223.1 and/or CAN/CSA B149 Installation
Codes.
The boiler must be installed such that the gas
ignition system components are protected from
water (dripping, spraying, rain, etc.) during
appliance operation and service. Failure to follow
this warning could result in equipment failure.
Caution
If an external electrical source is utilized, the boiler when
installed must be electrically bonded to ground in
accordance with the requirements of the authority having
jurisdiction, or in the absence of such requirements with
the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70 and/or the
Canadian Electrical Code Part I CSA C22.1.
