Sending a request for a number of samples that is greater than the number of
records in memory (e.g., #5,1 with only 5 samples in memory) with result in the
following error message:
EMPTY RECORD
3.3.5 RS-232 and telnet output format
Listed below are the lines that are printed on the fly in response to character
commands. A <CR><LF> is sent after the last character of each line transmitted.
A <BEL> (07H) is sent when the execution of the command is completed. This will
occur for example when the “S” command to start the counter is received and
executed or when the last record of the “A” command is transmitted.
