4.5.3
Emergency operations in case of thermal engine
failure
In case of emergency (engine anomaly, fuel exhaustion, etc.) to get the
pressure, inside the hydraulic circuit, necessary for the functioning of the
platform components, it is possible to use the 220V electrical engine item
2) par. 4.4.1.
To withdraw the aerial part, using the aforementioned engine, operate the
MEWP through the remote control or preferably using the turret control
station.
In case of emergency, first withdraw jib and
telescopic arm and then lower jib and telescopic arm.
After closing the platform, take it to the nearest service centre.
4.5.4
Emergency operations in case of electrical
system failure
In case of electrical emergency to get the pressure, inside the hydraulic
circuit, necessary for the functioning of the platform components, it is
possible to use the endothermic engine.
To withdraw the aerial part, using the aforementioned engine, operate the
MEWP through the remote control or preferably using the turret control
station (Picture 32 - DM Distributor).
In case of emergency, first withdraw jib and telescopic arm
and then lower jib and telescopic arm.
After closing the platform, take it to the nearest service centre.
