Put Grease Gun onto the grease nipple on the Y-axis.

Press Grease Gun once or twice.

Remove grease gun.

Place Grease Gun onto the grease nipple on the Z-axis.

Press Grease Gun once or twice.

Remove Grease Gun.
Grease ball screw
The machines of the T-series are equipped with ball screws on the X-and Y-axis. These need care in
form of regular greasing of the ball nuts. If the fat wetting on the spindles is no longer palpable, the
spindle is running dry. This leads to high wear of the ball nut and the spindle.
The life expectancy is specified by the manufacturer with approximately 80,000 hours. Premature
wear of the nuts and the screws is thus due to negligent maintenance, not will not lead to a
legitimate warranty claim.
