Soft-key functions
A number of functions of the SAILOR
6300 MF/HF DSC are accessed using
the four soft keys to the left of the
display. The current function of a soft
key is shown in the display next to the
soft key.
The following soft-key functions are
available from top-level standby:
Soft key Function
CALL Make DSC non-Distress calls.
ALERT Make a Distress call, categories can be assigned.
DROBOS Distress relay call on behalf of someone else.
MORE Display further soft key functions.
HI/LO

a. Only in SSB mode.
Switch between high and low power.
WATCH
a
Dual watch, current frequencies plus 1 DSC frequency
(2177 kHz).
SCAN
a
Scan in SSB voice or DSC + SSB voice mode. For scanned
frequencies see DSC Watch in Channel setup on page 43.
MORE Display further soft key functions.
SQLCH
a
Squelch enable or disable
