Introduction: Commend security for the world of SIP
Symphony BF stations with Intercom power
The full-duplex-capable stations of Symphony BF link the world of SIP technology with the reliability
and quality of solutions by Commend.
The stations are connected directly to the Ethernet (LAN/WAN) and via the IP network to a compatible
SIP server. Registrarless calls without a SIP server are also possible. The built-in switch with downlink
function allows direct connection of an additional IP device (e.g. an IP camera).
Besides high volume levels, the Symphony BF stations provide a large amount of further features: Pre-
recorded audio can be applied in a multi-purpose manner (e.g. as acoustic indication at line fault, as
waiting information at call initiation or a configurable background noise canceller provides a crystal
clear communication in challenging situations). Furthermore, the stations are perfectly suited for use
as door stations at entries and gateways, due to integrated relay outputs.
The robust construction of the Symphony BF stations provides full protection against water, dirt and
dust – protection class IP65. Each button can be allocated to a call number and the relevant label area
can be filled in individually.
