E : Wait Indicator (Warm Up).
Lights up when the Full Scale Scanner’s power is turned on. The
light stays on during the internal diagnostic and stabilization phase.
Keyboard input is prevented during this time.
F : Diagnostic Indicator.
Flashes if an error is detected by the built-in diagnostic.
If both the Diagnostic and the Wait (Warm Up) indicators flash
then an inadequate amount of light is registered by the cameras.
This is probably because the height of the camera brings it out of
the light’s range and must be adjusted. See the chapter:
"Maintenance" for instructions.
