Cleaning of wheels and brakes:
Wheels should be kept free of dirt or mud so as to not interfere with push-
i n g the cha i r. The br a kes a re to be kept fr ee of di r t or m u d, so a s n ot to
i nterfere wi th locki ng. Wi pe wheels and brakes wi th a moi st cloth as need-
ed and readjust brakes if indicated.
Cleaning of fabric cover:
Seat and back upholstery can be easi ly removed, washed, ai r dri ed (a
Phi lli ps head screwdri ver i s requi red) and reattached to the chai r. Use
standard detergent to wash fabri c.
Cushioned parts can also be removed from chair, washed or wi pe off wi th
a m oi st cloth. Before reattachi ng them to the chai r, make sure they are
completely dry. Use standard detergent to wash fabri c.
Pa rts that a re permanently attached ma y be wi ped vi gorously wi th a
moi st cloth. Allow suffi ci ent ti me to dry before placi ng user i n chai r.
7. Storage

be servi ced, cleaned and di si nfected.
8. Reuse
Your Convaid chair should undergo a wipe-down disinfection before reuse.
Please use a non-toxic, biodegradable disinfectant solution suitable for
surface disinfecti on.
Plea se check the followi ng components (see MAINTENANCE CHART) for
operation, intactness, etc. and replace if necessary:
• Wheels (tread pattern), ai r pressure i f appli cable
•Frame
• Seat and back upholstery
• Wheel lock opera ti on
• Bearings and axles: check wear and tear/ lubrication
• Straight-running stability of wheels
