Why is my Cornelius Beverage Dispenser not dispensing carbonated drinks and only syrup?
    • B
      Bill KingAug 19, 2025
This issue may arise if the CO pressure in the carbonator tank is too high. In this case, check the CO pressure regulator setting, a setting of 75 psig is recommended, and relieve pressure from the carbonator tank. Another potential cause is a water valve that won't open. Inspect the electrical connection to the water valve, check the coil's resistance (it should be 9 ohms), and verify voltage at the coil when the brand button is pressed.

What to do if my Cornelius FlavorFusion Beverage Dispenser is dispensing ice continuously?
    • E
      Erika GoodmanAug 21, 2025
Continuous ice dispensing may occur if the ice gate mechanism is stuck in the open position. Inspect the gasket for proper positioning and examine the gate plate to ensure it slides freely behind the lower ice chute. Also, check the ice dispense lever to see if it is bent, as this can prevent the gate from closing and opening the reed switch.

How to fix flat carbonated drinks from my Cornelius Beverage Dispenser?
    • R
      Robert JohnsonAug 26, 2025
If your carbonated drinks are flat, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if the CO is out and replace it if necessary. Second, the carbonator tank might be 100% filled because the city water pressure exceeds the carbonator tank CO pressure regulator setting. The CO setting for the carbonator tank should be 75 psig, with a maximum water pressure of 60 psig. If needed, install a water pressure regulating valve.

What to do if my Cornelius FlavorFusion Beverage Dispenser agitator does not turn?
    • A
      Alexis JacobsAug 28, 2025
If the agitator isn't turning, first ensure the unit has power by restoring power or plugging in the unit. Also, check the upper ice chute assembly for proper assembly and operation, as an improperly installed assembly may not activate the reed switch. Other potential causes include an inoperable reed switch (replace it), a defective electrical board driver circuit (replace the main control board), a gear motor with an open circuit (replace the gear motor), or a broken wire in the 2-wire harness leading to the reed switch (repair or replace the harness). Additionally, ensure the upper ice chute engages outside the lower chute, and snap front of chute into place. Check for a bad connection at the main control board, J3, pins 2 &3. In this case repair connection or replace 2-wire harness.

Why is my Cornelius FlavorFusion beverage too sweet?
    • C
      Carrie GouldAug 30, 2025
A beverage that is too sweet could be due to several factors. The valve brix might require adjustment, so adjust the valve brix accordingly. Alternatively, the carbonator may not be operating correctly, necessitating repair of the carbonator. Also, ensure there is sufficient CO pressure in the carbonator. Finally, if the city water pressure supply is low or inconsistent, consider using a booster pump if the dynamic water pressure drops below 40 psig.

Why is my Cornelius FlavorFusion Beverage Dispenser experiencing low water pressure?
    • O
      ojonesSep 1, 2025
Low water pressure could stem from several causes. Excessively long runs (over 40 ft.) of 3/8” water supply line can cause this issue; increasing the line size to 1/2” may resolve it. Additionally, consider adding a water pressure booster pump. A plugged water filter can also restrict water flow, so change the water filter. Finally, check if the water booster bladder has burst and replace the water booster tank/bladder if necessary.

Why is my Cornelius FlavorFusion Beverage Dispenser blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers?
    • A
      Antonio HendersonSep 3, 2025
A blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker in your dispenser often indicates an electrical issue. This could be due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring, in which case you should repair the wiring. Another possible cause is an inoperable agitator motor (shorted motor), requiring replacement of the gear motor.

What causes no syrup or watered down drink to be dispensed from my Cornelius Beverage Dispenser?
    • Q
      qboltonSep 5, 2025
If no syrup or a watered-down drink is dispensed, the syrup supply may be empty, requiring you to replace the BIB. Alternatively, the BIB pump might not be working, in which case you should replace the BIB pump. Also, check if there is sufficient CO or compressed air supply to the BIB pump, ensuring the pressure is adequate. Check the CO pressure regulator setting, with 65 psig recommended. Replace the CO 2 tank or fix the compressor if necessary.

What causes a Cornelius FlavorFusion Beverage Dispenser carbonator pump to not run even when the power cord is connected?
    • B
      Brian FrederickSep 7, 2025
If the carbonator pump motor is disabled, check the enable/disable switch on the carbonator pump terminal box and enable it, if necessary. Also, if the probes were dry, the unit was powered up, water was not turned on, and the carbonator did not fill, this results in a 5 minute timeout. Unplugging the unit and plugging it in will reset the unit and start the carbonator pump. Another reason may be that the water service was interrupted for more than 5 minutes. Unplugging the unit and plugging it in will reset the unit and start the carbonator pump.

What causes slushy ice or water in the hopper of my Cornelius FlavorFusion Beverage Dispenser?
    • J
      Jessica WhiteSep 9, 2025
Slushy ice or water in the hopper is often due to blocked drains in the cold plate. To resolve this, remove the access covers in the cold plate cover and inspect/clean the drains.
