From Top of Car Seat,
Lay Metal Retainer Flat
Against Shell As Shown
Turn Car Seat Over
Locate the harness straps’ metal
retainers on the bottom of the shell.
Remove Metal Retainers From
Tabs
Using a fl athead screwdriver, gently
lift the metal retainer off of the tab.
Make sure screwdriver does not
touch the harness strap.
Repeat for the other side.
Pull Metal Retainer Towards
You and Out of Its Original
Location
Repeat for the other side.
Push Metal Retainer Up into
Slot on Bottom of Shell As
Shown
Repeat for the other side.
From the top of the car seat, pull on
the harness straps to make sure the
retainers do not pull out.
Fully Loosen Harness Straps
From Back of Car Seat,
Remove Harness Strap
Loops From Splitter Plate

Adjusting Harness Strap Length
Replace Pad and Check Buckle
Pull up on the buckle to make sure it
is secured.
The buckle must not pull out.
