Insert Buckle’s Metal
Retainer into Buckle
Slot Closest to Child
The buckle must face out.
Rear-Facing Mode: You must use
the 1st or 2nd buckle slot.
Forward-Facing Mode: Any slot can
be used.
From Bottom of Car Seat, Pull
Metal Retainer Completely
Through Pad and Shell
Check Buckle
Pull up on the buckle to make sure it
is secured.
The buckle must not pull out.
Turn Car Seat Over and Push
Metal Retainers Down on Tabs
From the top of the car seat, pull up
on the harness straps to make sure
the metal retainers do not pull out.
If the harness straps have been unthreaded from the
buckle tongues and the chest clip, follow step 6.
Thread Buckle and Chest Clip
The harness strap ends go through
the back of the buckle on tongues
and through the chest clip front to
back as shown.
Push Harness Straps’ Metal
Retainers into Hip Harness
Slots As Shown
Make sure the metal retainers go
completely through the pad and shell.
