3.2. Personnelrequirements
Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by suitably trained and
qualified persons. The operator(s) must receive expert instruction regarding all
operatingaspects.
Electricalconnectionofthedevicemayonly becarriedout byaqualifiedelectrician,
and
inaccordancewithnationalandlocalregulations.
3.3 Personalprotectiveequipment
Personalprotectiveequipment(PPE)suchasearprotection,goggles,safetyshoes,
safetyhelmet,protectiveclothing,andsafetyglovesmustbewornduringallwork
onthesystemordevice.
More information about PPE is provided in the national regulations
of the user's
country.
3.4. Intendeduse–Liabilityandwarranty
The COSMO CPH 2.0 high‐efficiency pumps are designed for use in domestic
heatingsystems,underfloorheating,andairconditioningsystems.
Thepumpmaynotbeusedforthefollowingapplications:
o Water/glycolmixtureswithmorethan30%glycolcontent
o Mineraloils
o Contaminatedliquids
o Useindrinkingwaternetworks.
Thepumphasbeenbuiltinaccordancewithstate‐of‐the‐artstandardsandaccepted
safetyrules.Nonetheless,hazardscanarisewhenusingthepump,whichcanendanger
lifeorlimboftheuserorofthirdparties,orcausedamagetotheplantorotherassets
Beforedoinganymechanicalorelectricalwork,thedevicemustalwaysbe
disconnected from the power supply. Before opening the device, all
indicatorlampsinthecontrolpanelmustbeoff.Evenafterdisconnecting
the power supply, the intermediate circuit capacitor is still at a
dangerouslyhighvoltage.
Only securely wired
connections are permitted. The device must be
grounded(IEC536Class1,NEC,andothercorrespondingstandards).
Even if motor is at rest, mains supply and motor terminals can be at a
dangerouslyhighvoltage.
Defectivecablesmustbereplacedimmediatelybycustomer service ora
suitablyqualifiedtechnician,to
excludeallpossiblerisks.
