8.1.2 Controlmodes
Depending on system requirements, CPH 2.0 circulation pumps offer the following
controlmodes.TherequiredcontrolmodeisenteredviatheCPH2.0controlpanel.
Controlwithproportionaldifferentialpressureasafunctionofactualsystemflow:
Controlwithconstantdifferential
pressure:
With this control mode, the differential
pressure is increased or decreased,
depending on higher or lower water
demand.SetpointHscanbeadjustedvia
theexternaldisplay.
Thiscontrolmodeissuitablefor:
o Heating & air conditioning systems
withhighpressurelosses.
o Plants with a secondary differential
pressurecontroller.
o Primary circuits with high pressure
losses.
o Domestic water circulation with
thermostaticvalvesintheriserpipes.
Pressingthe"Mode"key for 20 seconds
opens the "Extended menu" with a
choice of 6 proportional differential
pressurecurves.
