Click the “ADVANCED” button and the screen will display the following toolbar:

The functions of the buttons in the toolbar are as follows:
System configuration
Search, playback, and backup of recorded files
MANUAL REC/STOP MANUAL REC: Click the “MANUAL REC” button to start
manual recording. Click “STOP MANUAL REC” or press the “stop” (“■”) button to stop
manual recording.
KEYLOCK: If the password is enabled, clicking “KEYLOCK” will log the user out of the
system and lock the DVR such that pressing keys or icons will have no effect on DVR activity
until a user enters the password to disable the keylock.
PTZ: Opens the PTZ control menu.-(optional)
/ / / / : Pressing these keys switches split modes between quad-view and views with
six, eight, nine, and sixteen windows (the number of windows depends on the model of the
DVR being used).
AUTO SEQUENCE: Click “AUTO SEQUENCE” on the toolbar to enable auto-
sequencing; this will display the channels with images in sequence: channel 1-channel
2-channel 3-channel 4-channel 1…… (for a 4-CH DVR) / channel 1-channel 2-channel
3-channel 4-channel 5-channel 6-channel 7-channel 8-channel 1…… (for an 8-CH DVR)
/channel 1-channel 2-channel 3-channel 4-……-channel 14-channel 15-channel 16-channel
1…… (for a 16-CH DVR). Channels without images will not be displayed. To interrupt auto-
sequencing, press any button or click the mouse while in auto-sequence mode.
