CheckingOilLevel
1. Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2. Removeoil dipstick and wipe dipstick with clean cloth.
Replaceand tighten dipstick. Remove and and check oil
level.
3. Verify oil is at FULL mark (top hole) on dipstick. Replace
and tighten dipstick.

Adding Engine Oil
1. Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2. Checkoil level as described in CheckingOilLevel
3. If needed,slowly pour oil into oil fill opening to the FULL
mark on dipstick. DONOToverfill.
NOTICE Overfilling with oil could cause the engine to not
start, or hard starting.
DO NOToverfill.
If over the FULL mark on dipstick, drain oil to reduce oil level to
FULL mark on dipstick.
4. Replaceand tighten dipstick.
Changing Engine Oil
if you are using your pressurewasher under extremely dirty
or dusty conditions, or in extremely hot weather, changeoil
more often.
_i_CAUTION Avoid prolonged or repeatedskin contact
with usedmotor oil.
Usedmotoroil hasbeenshownto causeskincancerin certain
laboratoryanimals.
Thoroughlywashexposedareaswith soapandwater.

Changeoil while engine is still warm from running,as
follows:
1. Drain fuel tank by running pressure washer until fuel
tank is empty.
2. Disconnect spark plug wire and keep it away from spark
plug.
3. Cleanarea around oil fill, removeoil fill cap/dipstick.
Wipe dipstick clean.
4. Tip your pressure washer to drain oil from oil fill into a
suitable container making sure you tip your unit away
from spark plug. When crankcaseis empty, return
pressurewasher to upright position.
5. Slowly pour recommended oil (about 20 oz. (0.6 I)) into
oil fill opening. Pauseto permit oil to settle. Fill to Full
mark on dipstick.
6. Wipe dipstick cleaneachtime oil level is checked. DO
NOToverfill.
7. Replaceand tighten dipstick.
8. Wipe up any remaining oil.
9. Reconnectspark plug wire to spark plug.
Service Air Cleaner
Your engine will not run properly and may be damaged if you
run it with a dirty air cleaner. Service more often if operating
under dirty or dusty conditions. Replacementsare available
atyour local Searsservicecenter.
To servicethe air cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Slide air cleaner lever(A) to unlock (mi') position and tilt
cover (B) down.

2. Carefullyremove air cleanerto preventdebris from
falling into carburetor.
3. Wash foam air cleaner (C) in liquid detergent and water.
Squeezedry in a clean cloth.
4. SATURATEfoam air cleaner in engine oil and squeezein
a clean cloth to remove excessoil.
5. Reinstallcleanor newfoam air cleaner in base(D).
6. Tilt cover up and slide lever to lock (_) position.

ServiceSparkPlug
Changingthe spark plug will help your engine to start easier
and run better.
1. Cleanareaaround spark plug.
2. Removeand inspect spark plug.
3. Replacespark plug if electrodes are pitted, burned or
porcelain is cracked. Usethe recommended replacement
plug. See Specifications.
