Attaching The Seat
NOTE:Forshippingreasons,the seatis eitherfastenedtothetractor
seat'spivotbracketwitha plastictie,or mountedbackwardtothe pivot
bracket.Ineithercase,freethe seatfromits shippingpositionbeing
carefulnotto bendor kinkthe wiringharnessandfollowtheinstruc-
tionsbelowto attachit.
1. Removethetwo hexscrewsandnutsfromthe seatpivotbracket.
2. Alignthefrontholesof theseatmountingbracketwiththeholesin
theseatpivotbracketon yourtractorand securewith previously
removedhexscrewsandnuts. SeeA in Figure4.
3. Plugthewiringharnessintothe seatsafetyswitchinthe bottomof
theseat,as shownin Bof Figure4.
NOTE:Thetractorwillnotoperatewiththewiringharness
disconnected.
Adjusting the Seat
Toadjustthe positionof the seat,pullupandholdthe seatadjustment
lever.Slidetheseatforwardor rearwardtothedesiredposition;then
releasetheadjustmentlever.Makesureseatis lockedintopositionin
a seat-stopbeforeoperatingthetractor.SeeFigure5.
Beforeoperatingthetractor,makesuretheseatis engagedina
seat-stop.Engagethe parkingbrake.Standbehindthemachineand
pull backon seatuntilit clicksintoplace.
