RESIDENTIAL ZERO-TURN ("RZT") MOWERS
important:To obtainwarrantycoverageownermust presentan
originalproofof purchaseandapplicablemaintenancerecordsto
the servicingdealer. Please see the operator'smanualfor
informationonrequiredmaintenanceandserviceintervals.
ThelimitedwarrantysetforthbelowisgivenbyCubCadetLLCwith
respectto newmerchandisepurchasedorleasedandusedin
theUnitedStatesand/oritsterritoriesandpossessions,andbyMTD
ProductsUmitedwithrespectto newmerchandisepurchasedor
leasedandusedin Canadaand/oritsterritoriesandpossessions
(eitherentityrespectively,"CubCadet').
CubCadetwarrantsthisproduct(excludingitsNorma!WearParts,
andBatteriesasdescribedbelow)againstdefectsinmaterialand
workmanshipfora periodoftwo(2)yearscommencingonthedate
oforiginalretailpurchaseorleaseandwill,at itsoption,repairor
replace,freeofcharge,anypartfoundtobedefectiveinmaterials
orworkmanship.
NormalWearPartsarewarrantedtobefreefromdefectsin
materialandworkmanshipfora periodofthiriy(30)daysfromthe
dateof originalpurchaseorlease.Normalwearpartsinclude,but
arenotlimitedto itemssuchas: belts,blades,bladeadapters,
grassbags,riderdeckwheels,seats,andtires.
Batterieshaveaone-yearproratedlimitedwarrantyagainstdefects
inmaterialandworkmanship,with100%replacementduringthe
firstthreemonths.Afterthreemonths,thebatteryreplacement
creditisbasedonthemonthsremaininginthetwelve(12)month
perioddatingbacktotheoriginaldateoforiginalsaleorlease.Any
replacementbatterywillbewarrantedonlyfortheremainderofthe
originalwarrantyperiod.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallonlyapplyifthisproducthasbeen
operatedandmaintainedinaccordancewiththeOperator'sManual
furnishedwiththeproduct,andhasnotbeensubjecttomisuse,
abuse,commercialuse,neglect,accident,impropermaintenance,
a[terat{on,vandalism,theft,fire,water,or damagebecauseof other
perilor naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfromtheinstallationor
useof anypart,accessoryorattachmentnotapprovedbyCub
Cadetfor usewiththeproduct(s)coveredbythismanualwillvoid
yourwarrantyastoanyresultingdamage.In addition,CubCadet
maydenywarrantycoverageifthehourmeter,oranypartthereof,
isaltered,modified,disconnectedorotherwisetamperedwith.

Withoutlimitingtheforegoing,thislimitedwarrantydoesnotprovide
coverageinthefollowingcases:
a Routinemaintenanceitemssuchas lubricants,filters,blade
sharpening,tune-ups,brakeadjustments,dutchadjustments,
deckadjustments,andnormaldeteriorationoftheexteriorfin-
ishdueto useorexposure.
b. Servicecompletedbysomeoneotherthananauthorized
servicedealer.
CubCadetdoesnotextendanywarrantyforproductssoldor
exporledoutsideoftheUnitedStatesand/orCanada,and
theirrespectivepossessionsandterritories,exceptthosesold
throughCubCadet'sauthorizedchannelsof export
distribution.
d. Replacementpartsand_oraccessoriesthatarenotgenuine
CubCadetparts.
e. Transportationchargesandservicecalls.
f. CubCadetdoesnotwarrantthisproductforcommercialuse.
Therearenoimpliedwarranties,includingwithoutlimitation
anyimpliedwarrantyof merchantabilityorfitnessfor a
particularpurpose.Nowarrantiesshallapplyafterthe
applicableperiodofexpresswrittenwarrantyabove.Noother
expresswarrantiesbeyondthosementionedabove,givenby
anypersonorentity,includingadealerorretailer,withrespect
toanyproduct,shallbindCubCadet.Theexclusiveremedyis
repairorreplacementoftheproductassetforth above.The
termsofthiswarrantyprovidethesoleandexclusiveremedy
arisingfromthesaleand/orleaseoftheproductscovered
hereby.CubCadetshallnotbeliablefor anyincidentalor
consequentiallossordamageincludfng,withoutlimitation,
expensesincurredfor substituteorreplacementlawncare
servicesorfor rentalexpensestotemporarilyreplacea
warrantedproduct.
Some jurisdictionsdo not allow the exclusion or limitation
otincidentalorconsequentialdamages,orlimitationsonhowlong
animpliedwarrantylasts,sotheaboveexclusionsor limitations
maynotapplytoyou.
Innoeventshallrecoveryof anykindbegreaterthantheamountof
thepurchasepriceoftheproductsold.Alterationof safety
featuresof the productshallvoidthis warranty,Youassume
theriskandliabilityforloss,damage,orinjurytoyouandyour
proper_and!ortoothersandtheirpropertyarisingoutofthe
misuseorinabilityto usetheproduct.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallnotextendtoanyoneotherthanthe
originalpurchaserortothepersonforwhomitwaspurchasedasa
gift.
HOWLOCALLAWSRELATETOTHISWARRANTY:Thislimited
warrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayalsohave
otherrightsthatvaryindifferentjurisdictions.
