1. Measure the cylinder bore
• Top
• Middle
• Bottom
Out of roundness: 0.005mm
Taper:0.005mm
2. Measure the piston Rings end gap
• Place the ring inside the
cylinder and measure with
a feeler gauge.
Top ring/2nd ring Limit 0.5mm
3. Measure piston outer diameter at
10 mm above the skirt.
Piston to cylinder clearance
Limit 0.15mm
4. Measure piston ring side clearance
• Use a feeler gauge
5. Measure the piston pin outside
diameter.
Service Wear Limit
0.02 mm
6. Measure the piston pin bore inside
diameter.
Service Wear Limit
0.02 mm
