Remove deck pivot assembly
1. Remove the two bolts, split washers and flat washers securing the front of the deck pivot bracket
using a 5/32” Allen wrench.

2. Remove the two mounting bolts securing the deck pivot shaft to the frame using a 1/2” Socket
wrench. There is one bolt at each end of the deck pivot shaft.
With the deck pivot shaft out of the unit you can now remove the bushings, deck pivot brackets, and
the retaining rings.
Inspect deck bumpers
Inspect the deck bumpers for cracks or wear.
Replace the deck bumpers if the rubber is cracked or worn using a 1/4" Allen
wrench.
