6. Pull up on Harness Straps to snug around the child's hips while holding
the Harness Buckle in place.
7. Slowly pull the adjuster strap to tighten the Shoulder Straps. A snug
strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line without
sagging. It does not press on the child’s flesh or push the child’s body
into an unnatural position.
8. Harness Pinch Test. To test for a properly tightened Har
ness, pinch
the shoulder strap. A snug Harness should not allow you to pinch any
slack when pinched between your thumb and forefinger. If needed, pull
adjuster strap further for a tight and proper fit.

CAUTION, A LOOSE HARNESS IS DANGEROUS
Always keep child properly secured in Harness.
Never secure child in Infant Carrier dressed in a
bulky garment or heavy clothing.
An infant could be ejected and killed if wrapped in
a blanket or swaddled. Make sure infant’s arms and
infant’s legs are not bound or wrapped together.
To keep child warm, place a blanket over child and Infant Carrier, AFTER you have
properly secured and tightened Harness around your child.
