3. Connect an Ethernet cable from your uplink network to the INTERNET port on the back of the DIR-869.
1. Inspect the mode switch to ensure that it is in EXTENDER position. Adjust the switch if necessary.
2. Position your DIR-869 near where you wish to extend Wi-Fi to. Place it in an open area for better wireless coverage.

Note: Extending network to desired your location via Ethernet may require the purchase of additional cable.
Maximum CAT5e cable length is limited to 100 meters.
