5. To add hydraulic oil, turn breather cap (1,
Figure 13) slowly to allow pressurized air
to vent.
6. Remove upper cover (2, Figure 13) from
hydraulic oil tank and add oil to proper
level by checking sight glass (Figure 12).
CHECK FOR LEAKS IN HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
1. Perform a daily walk-around inspection to make sure that the hoses, piping, fittings, cylinders and
hydraulic motors are not showing any signs of leakage. If any is noted, determine the source of the
leak and repair.
IMPORTANT
Do not fill above "H" mark on sight
gauge. Overfilling can result in
damage to equipment and oil leaking
from hydraulic tank due to
expansion.
