Basic Operation
Adjusting the Airow Direction
You can adjust the airow direction to increase your comfort.
CAUTION
• Always use a remote controller to adjust the angles of the ap. Moving the ap forcibly by hand may cause a
malfunction.
• Be careful when adjusting the louvers. Inside the air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.
To start auto swing
Up and down airow direction
Press �
• “ ” is displayed on the LCD.
• The ap (horizontal blade) will begin to swing.
To set the ap at the desired position
• This function is effective while the ap is in auto swing mode.
Press when the ap reaches the desired
position�
• “ ” disappears from the LCD.
To adjust the louvers at desired position
Hold the knobs and move the louvers (vertical blades)�

Notes on airow direction setting
• The movable range of the ap varies according to the operation mode.
• The ap will stop at the upper position when the airow rate is changed to low during the
up and down swing setting.
