INFORMATION ON USE AND OPERATION
7) Tamp the co󰀨ee using the tamper supplied.
Keep the tamper perfectly upright to apply pressure to
the co󰀨ee evenly.
8) Clean o󰀨 any ground co󰀨ee residues from around
the edge of the portalter to ensure a perfect seal be-
tween the portalter and the grouphead.
WARNING
Accidental release of the portalter during co󰀨ee ex-
traction can cause injury.
9) Firmly t the portalter into the grouphead.
10) Press the button for the amount of co󰀨ee you want to
extract into the cup (‘ristretto’, i.e. a smaller more con-
centrated espresso, a standard espresso, or ‘lungo’,
i.e. a slightly larger, less concentrated espresso), see
(“Description of the grouphead control panel”).
- The button backlight will come on.
WARNING
To prevent scalds from contact with the hot co󰀨ee
when extracting the co󰀨ee, keep body parts away and
do not put your hands under the portalter.
- Press the button to stop extraction at any time.
- The button switch will switch o󰀨.
