Calculates the load when set-up 1 is active and stops (trips) the drive when the motor is overloa-
ded. Program a warning signal via 1 of the digital outputs. The signal appears in the event of a
warning and if the drive trips (thermal warning).
Activates the thermal monitoring function for Ex-e motors for ATEX. Enables parameter 1-94 ATEX
ETR cur.lim. speed reduction, parameter 1-98 ATEX ETR interpol. points freq., and parameter 1-99
ATEX ETR interpol points current.
N O T I C E
If [20] ATEX ETR is selected, follow the instructions in the dedicated chapter of the design guide and the instructions provided by
the motor manufacturer.
N O T I C E
If [20] ATEX ETR is selected, set parameter 4-18 Current Limit to 150%.
Parameter 1-91 Motor External Fan
Table 137: Parameter 1-91 Motor External Fan
Default value: Size related
Change during operation: True
No external fan is required, that is the motor is derated at low speed.
Applies an external motor fan (external ventilation), so no derating of the motor is required at low speed. The
upper curve in Illustration 43 (f
out
= 1 x f
M,N
) is followed if the motor current is lower than nominal motor cur-
rent (see parameter 1-24 Motor Current). If the motor current exceeds nominal current, the operation time still
decreases as if no fan was installed.
Parameter 1-93 Thermistor Resource

Change during operation: True
