BC-HM VI.72.M4.02 Danfoss 11/97 43
Notes:
- System 5-B is registered
automatically when sensor S2 is
connected. The necessary settings
become visible in the display
(registered when the unit is switched
on).
- Frost protection can be obtained at
any point in the system by connecting
a separate S3 sensor. A frost signal
stops the fans, starts the circulation
pump and fully opens the valve.
- Sliding frost protection is possible
when return sensor S4 is connected.
When the return temperature is 10°C
or less, the reference for S1 is
increased and thereby the valve
opens. If it is not possible to reach
6°C in the return, the fans stop and
the damper closes.
- Frost protection thermostat KP 61 can
be connected on the sensor S3 input.
A closed contact gives a frost signal.
In P3.0 the reading will be (- -) = open
contact or (- - -) = closed contact.
When P3.1 is set on (- -) no S3
temperatures can be received from
the master control.
- Fire thermostat function. A fire
thermostat can be connected to
terminals 8 and 9 (safety circuit).
When a fire alarm is set off (circuit is
opened) the fans stop, the damper
and the valve close. At the same time
alarm code 6 is displayed in P7.1 and
the LED blinks.
WARNING! If no fire thermostat is
connected either a jumper (short
circuit) or sensor S6 must be
connected to terminals 8 and 9.
- Warm start function. Relay R1 cut-in
is delayed in order to counter cold
supply air at the changeover from
reduced to normal temperature. The
R1 closes under the following
conditions:
with S4 installed:
when P4.0 is larger than P1.1
and the delay in P4.3 has
elapsed.
without S4 installed:
when the delay in P4.3 has
elapsed.
- Load-dependent compensation is
possible by connecting sensor S6.
Two independent compensation
curves can be set. Curves must be
set in P6.2 and P6.3 in P7.2 and P7.3
respectively.
- In ventilation systems with
recirculation, the damper can be
controlled (ON/OFF) by relay output
R2 (zone 2 on time switch). Relay
contact R2 is closed when reduced
temperature is set.
- With reduced temperature, total stop
function in P1.2 has the following
influence:
0 Control according to reduced
setpoint (P9.0).
Fan constantly cut in.
1 Valve closes and fan stops
until room temperature has
fallen to the required
temperature. Valve then opens
and fan starts until room
temperature has risen
1 degree.
- Relay status for different operating
situations with this system is as
follows:
*
)
Relay contact R2 closed with reduced
temperature.
0 = open relay contact
1 = closed relay contact
