REPLACING THE BATTERY PACK
Use the following procedure to change the reader’s bat-
tery:
1. With a screwdriver, unscrew the battery cover screw.
2. Carefully remove the battery cable out of its connec-
tor and extract the battery pack from its slot.
NOTE: Before proceeding, read "Battery Safety" on
page 41. To ensure maximum performance, Data-
logic recommends the replacement of the
rechargeable battery pack if you note either of the
following conditions:
• battery life drops below approximately 80%
of the original life;
• battery charging time increases significantly.
