Why is my Datalogic Barcode Reader's LED on, but it's not decoding barcodes?

If the LED is on but the Datalogic Barcode Reader isn't decoding the barcode, there might be a few reasons. First, make sure the reader is actually programmed to read the type of barcode you're scanning. Second, check the barcode label itself to see if it's damaged or unclear; try scanning a different barcode. Finally, the distance between the reader and the barcode could be the issue; try moving the reader either closer to or further away from the barcode.
