Removing the status-light board

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
Procedure
NOTE: The status-light board includes an LED indicator for power and
battery-status light/hard-drive activity light.
1 Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the system
board.
2 Press on release tab and lift the status-light board from the slot on the palm-rest
assembly.
