Prerequisites
1 Remove the base panel.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 9 in “Removing the palm rest”.
Procedure
1 Lift the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the status-
light board.
2 Remove the screws that secure the status-light board to the palm-rest
assembly.
