Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the hard drive”.
4 Remove the keyboard.

Procedure
1 Open the latch and disconnect the power-button cable from the system board.
2 Open the latch and disconnect the touch-pad cable from the system board.
