Replacing the fans

Procedure
1 Using the alignment posts, place the right fan on the computer base.
2 Connect the right-fan cable to the system board.
3 Using the alignment posts, place the left fan on the computer base.
4 Route the I/O-board power cables through the routing guides on the left fan.
5 Connect the left-fan cable to the system board.

Post-requisites
1 Replace the palm-rest assembly.
2 Replace the keyboard.
3 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 6 in “Replacing the hard drive”.
4 Replace the battery.
5 Replace the base cover.
