Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the optical drive”.
3 Remove the keyboard.
4 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 5 in “Removing the base cover”.
Procedure
1 Remove the screw that secures the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Turn the I/O board over and peel the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to
the I/O board.
3 Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
4 Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest assembly.
