9 Remove the heat-sink assembly.
Procedure
1 Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.
2 Open the latches and disconnect the power-button board cable and touch-pad
cable from the system board.

3 Close the display and turn the computer over.
4 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
5 Remove the screw that secures the display hinge to the system board.
6 Open the display hinge to an angle of 90 degrees.
