Removing the coin cell battery
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD memory card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Disconnect the battery cable.
5. Remove the hard drive assembly.
NOTE: Required for systems with 42 Whr battery
6. Remove the IO board.
Steps
1. Flip the I/O board.
2. Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the coin cell battery out of the slot on the I/O board [1].
3. Remove the coin cell battery away from the computer [2].
