CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program’s settings to default. It is recommended that you note
the BIOS setup program’s settings before removing the coin-cell battery.
Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
2 Remove the I/O-board cable from the routing guides on the fan.
3 Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.
4 Peel the coin-cell battery o the palm-rest assembly.
