Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Remove the solid-state drive/Intel Optane memory module.
4 Remove the memory modules.
5 Remove the hard drive.
6 Remove the coin-cell battery.
7 Remove the wireless card.
8 Remove the speakers.
9 Remove the fan.
10 Remove the heat sink.
11 Remove the display assembly.
12 Remove the power-adapter port.
13 Remove the I/O board.
14 Remove the power button with ngerprint reader.
15 Remove the system board.
16 Remove the touchpad.
Procedure
1 Peel the tape that secures the keyboard bracket to the keyboard..
2 Remove the 14 screws (M1.4x2) that secures the keyboard bracket to the keyboard.
