Installing the power-adapter port
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the power-adapter port and provides a visual representation of the installation
procedure.
Steps
1. Using the alignment post, place the power-adapter port into its slot on the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
2. Connect the power-adapter port cable to the connector on the system board.
3. Fold the right hinge down and install the two (M2.5x5) screws to secure it to the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
