Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the stand.
3. Remove the back cover.
About this task
The following image(s) indicate the location of the system-board shield and provides a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Remove the six screws (M3x5) that secure the system-board shield to the display-assembly base.
2. Lift the system-board shield off the display-assembly base.
