System Flush and Leak Check
Remove aerator (1) from the kitchen
faucet and turn faucet handle(s) (2) to
the full on mixed position. Turn on hot
and cold water supplies and flush water
lines for 1 minute. IMPORTANT: This
flushes away any debris that could
cause damage to internal parts. Turn
faucet off and reinstall aerator.

Turn filter faucet handle (1) to the on
(up) position and flush for 5 minutes.

period, the vent feature needs to

Check all connections at arrows for
leaks. Retighten if necessary, but do
not overtighten.

by pressing the air release valve (2),
located on the top of the filter unit,
down approximately 1/4" for 5 seconds
then releasing it. Repeat this at least
3 times. Note: Repeat step B each
time you replace the filter cartridge.
