Keep work area clean, well-lit, and free from hazards. Maintain tools in top condition.
Avoid accidental starting, don't overreach, secure work, and avoid dangerous environments.
Be aware of drugs/alcohol, dust hazards, and never stand on the tool.
Ensure familiarity, proper grounding, and disconnect power for adjustments/repairs.
Support workpiece, avoid foreign objects, feed correctly, and observe material dimensions.
Ensure blades are secure, cutterhead at speed, and keep fingers clear of openings.
Start machine with green 'ON' button and stop with red 'OFF' button.
Use lever for rapid adjustment, handwheel for fine adjustment. Always raise table to final position.
Engage/disengage feed rolls with lever. Change speeds by moving belt on pulleys.
Check for zero deflection with light finger pressure. Adjust stud and tighten jam nut.
Check for approx. 1" deflection. Adjust rod position in stud and tighten nuts.
