6.2 KP-T16 clamp-type buffer

Slide the clamp-type buffer onto the runway girder. Slightly
tighten grub screws (1) on both sides.
Slightly tighten hexagon nuts (2) on both sides.
Align the clamp-type buffer.

Tightening torque = 20 Nm
alternately tighten to same amount.
Only the supplied grub screws may be used.

Tightening torque = 40 Nm

Safety instructions
All bolted connections of the clamp-type buffer must be checked for tight fit once a
year. Retighten to tightening torques specified in fig. 4 as required.
Loosened screws might result in the travel unit falling down.
For testing, run the hoist unit
against the clamp-type buffer
