82 Average duration of one session according to patient’s age:
for children under 1 year old— 5–10 minutes (1–3 minutes per one zone);
for 1–3 years old children— 10–15 minutes (3–5 minutes per one zone);
for 3–5 years old children— 15–20 minutes (5–7 minutes per one zone);
for 1–12 years old children— 20–25 minutes (7–9 minutes per one zone);
for children above 12 years old and adults— up to 30–40 minutes (10–15 minutes per
one zone).
1.4.3 Stimulation Intensity.
Intensity of electrical stimulation is determined on individual basis according to patient’s
subjective feelings. Stimulation Intensity can be divided into three conventional levels.
1.4.3.1 Minimal level— there is no sensation or there is sensation of light vibration under
the electrodes. Select minimal level if stimulation should have low intensity: for children
under 12 years old and adults with cardiovascular diseases (arterial hypertension, arterial
hypotension, vegetal dystonia). Those patients who suer from frequent headaches or
