Input Setup
Source Level
Default settings are underlined.
This function corrects the playback level of the selected input source’s audio input.
Make this setting if there are differences in the input volume levels between the different sources.
Setting details
–12dB – +12dB (0dB)
The analog input level and digital input level can be adjusted independently for input sources for
which “OPT” or “COAX” is assigned at “Input Assign“ (vpage31).
Playback Mode
This item can be set when the input source is “DOCK”.
Setting items Setting details
Repeat
Make settings for repeat
mode.
All : All fi les are played repeatedly.
One : A fi le being played is played repeatedly.
OFF : Repeat playback mode is canceled.
Shuffl e
Make settings for shuffl e
mode.
n When DENON control dock for iPod ASD-11R is connected
Songs : All fi les are played in shuffl e playback mode.
Albums : Files in the album are played in shuffl e playback mode.
OFF : Shuffl e playback mode is canceled.
n When DENON control dock for iPod ASD-3N, ASD-3W, ASD-51N
or ASD-51W is connected
ON : Shuffl e playback mode is enabled.
OFF : Shuffl e playback mode is canceled.

Volume Control
Default settings are underlined.
Sets the volume setting.
Setting items Setting details
Disp. (Volume Display)
Set how volume is
displayed.
Relative : Display ---dB (Min), in the range –80.5 dB – 18 dB.
Absolute : Display in the range 0 (Min) – 99.
The “Volume Display” setting is applied also to the “Volume Limit”
and “Power On Level” display method.
Limit (Volume Limit)
Make a setting for
maximum volume.
OFF : Do not set a maximum volume.
–20dB (61) / –10dB (71) / 0dB (81)
If “Disp.” is set to “Absolute”, the value in ( ) is displayed.
P.On (Power On Level)
Defi ne the volume setting
that is active when the
power is turned on.
Last : Use the memorized setting from the last session.
– – – (0) : Always use the muting on condition when power is turned on.
–80dB – +18dB (1 – 99) : The volume is adjusted to the set level.
Mute (Mute Level)
Set the amount of
attenuation when muting
is on.
Full : The sound is muted entirely.
–40dB : The sound is attenuated by 40 dB down.
–20dB : The sound is attenuated by 20 dB down.
