Using this procedure you can make
announcements to system tele-
phones. The loudspeaker of the
destination telephone is activated
without a ring, and your announce-
ment is heard by those present in
the room.
If you want to start an announce-
ment on several system terminals to
a hunt group phone number at
which the call is signalled simultane-
ously for example, all called sub-
scribers hear the announcement at
that same time. If one of these sub-
scribers responds to the announce-
ment (by answering the call), the an-
nouncement connection to the
other system terminals is termi-
nated.
Note: If a called party is a member
of a user group for which Intercom
protection is activated, announce-
ments will not be made for his tele-
phone number.
Callback on Busy
If the internal or external number
you have dialled is busy, you can
leave a callback request. (This is not
possible if the destination number is
a hunt group telephone number.)
Your telephone will ring as soon as
the other party has ended his call.
When you lift the handset, the
number of the other party will be di-
alled.
