4.6.1 WLAN basic settings
In the WLAN basic settings you can set the time control
and the RADIUS server, regardless of whether the
dLAN 200 AVpro Wireless N acts as an access point or
a client. These settings apply for both modes.
For operation as an access point, a (transmission)
channel must be specified. There are 13 channels
available. We recommend keeping the default setting
Auto, since in this setting the
dLAN 200 AVpro Wireless N selects the channel regu-
larly and independently. In other words, if the last con-
nected station logs out, a search for a suitable channel
is carried out immediately. If no stations are connect-
ed, the device automatically selects a channel every 15
minutes.
