2.5.1 dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac as a Wi-Fi
access point
By default, the dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac is configured
as a Wi-Fi access point and makes the dLAN pro net-
work connected via the mains outlet available wireless-
ly or by Ethernet to other client devices, such as
laptops, IP radios or IP telephones.
This is particularly practical if not all client stations are
within range of a Wi-Fi access point, for example be-
cause concrete walls disrupt the signal. With dLAN var-
ious rooms can be easily connected via the mains
supply. And using the dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac, every
mains outlet can be turned quickly and easily into a Wi-
Fi connection with excellent reception quality.
The following illustration shows how the Internet con-
nection is set up using the dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac
and a router, and how the connection within the net-
work is set up using additional dLAN pro devices.
