19 Introduction

2.3.4 Reset button

The reset button (next to the network jacks) has two diffe-

rent functions:

Restart

The device restarts if you press the Reset button for less

than 10 seconds.

Factory default settings

 To remove a devolo Magic adapter from your

devolo Magic network and successfully restore its

entire configuration to the factory defaults, press and

hold the reset button longer than 10 seconds.

Keep in mind that all settings that have already been

made will be lost!

2 White LED Lights up steady WiFi is switched on and active. Can be disabled

3White LED Off Status 1: Someone has set the "WiFi

LED" function in the LED settings on the

web interface or in the devolo app to off.

The WiFi LED is switched off and the de-

volo magic adapter is still ready for use.

Status 2: Someone has set the "WiFi

network mode" function in the WiFi net-

works settings on the web interface or in

the devolo app to off. The WiFi function

ist disabled.
